Admin/Secretary for the IAHS wanted

The IAHS represents over 100 health stores in Ireland. The Association is run voluntarily by its members with this the only paid position. The present Secretary has been with us for twenty one years and is retiring shortly. We are now looking to recruit a suitably skilled and experienced person to co-ordinate the Association’s day to day activities.

Duties include:

  • General administration;
  • Supporting the IAHS board and the wider membership;
  • Managing and developing the day to day finances of the Association;
  • Marketing and promotion;
  • Coordinating, developing and administering IAHS training programmes.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Self motivated
  • Able to communicate effectively with a diverse range of interested groups in the natural health industry;
  • Skilled in the use of IT with experience of Social Media;
  • Numerate and with a day to day knowledge of accounting


Experience within health trade would be an advantage

The position requires you to have a home based office – IAHS related bills will be reimbursed.

Basic salary circa €24,000 pa inclusive based on 35 hour week .
