Update, if you saw this post earlier and had difficulties following up you can very simply sign a petition to oppose the proposal at https://chn.ge/2xYkcKA
HI Everyone, if you value natural supplements please READ this post, ACT on it and SHARE it with as many people as you can.
In the last couple of days we have learnt that the Minister of Finance plans to put VAT across the board on ALL of our health supplements in next Tuesday's budget .

We see this as an attack on natural health care and we refuse to stand by and let this happen.

Let's act together and stop this crazy tax on all of us looking after our own health with vitamin C, multivitamins and fish oils etc BUT. . . you've got to act today and better still this morning !

If the VAT man gets his way then there will be a 23% tax put on all of these items and prices will Skyrocket

Best thing to do right now is send a Quick Facebook message to Minster Paul Kehoe also Minster Michael D'Arcy TD . And for massive bonus points also John Halligan TD
Let them know just how unimpressed you are with this plan !
All have Twitter and Facebook accounts which you can message and please share this with everyone who takes supplements to strengthen their health with their own spending - keeping us out of the doctors surgery !
Guys we can win this but let's do it today ! Remember what's at stake here - YOUR choice of how to look after you and your family's health. Don't let the government take that away from us ! Act right now and let them know how you feel !

Many people suffer from Sinus infection. This occurs when the nasal passageways become infected, swollen, and inflamed. The most common symptoms are facial pain, congestion, and infected nasal discharge. The infection can be viral, bacterial, or sometimes fungal. You can have short-term acute or chronic long-term sinus problems. If you have allergies, your symptoms may be aggravated by inhaling airborne allergens like dust, perfumes, or pollen. Symptoms can also be aggravated by eating dairy foods because they can promote the formation of mucus. A simple change in diet could be the ideal solution. Of course, this means no milk chocolate, ice-cream or any dairy products. The build-up of thick mucus clogs the nasal passageways and the sinus cavities. Sometimes the mucus drains down the back of the throat. This is known as postnasal drip. For acute Sinusitis you may be offered an antibiotic to clear the infection; however, an antibiotic will only treat a bacterial infection. It won’t help if it’s a viral or fungal infection. If you do take an antibiotic, remember to take a good quality probiotic. Some of you have chronic sinus problems that can last for months and months. Thankfully there are herbal remedies that can help. They include Garlic, Elderberry, Astragulus, and Oregano. You’ll find combination blends of these herbs that work quite well together. Terra Nova Astragulus, Elderberry and Garlic is a great example of this targeting bacterial, viral and fungal infection. This supplement has worked for lots of people. For on-going/recurring sinus infections, you will need to take your chosen supplement for a couple of months. You could also reduce dairy products, red meat, wheat, coffee, alcohol and of course sugar during a flare up to give yourself the best chance of overcoming the infection. If you don't think that infection is the cause, then the Higher Nature Salt Pipe that I wrote about recently could help reduce inflammation and swelling and offer relief to your symptoms. Some people get relief using steam inhalations of Lavender, Eucalyptus or Oregano essential oils.
In order to eradicate the problem, you‘ll need to treat the infection, support immunity, and you may need to make dietary and lifestyle changes. So why suffer? Call into your local independent health food store today for more advice. The staff there will be happy to help. Clair Whitty is an advisor at Natural Health Store, Wexford.
